"Express Yourself" Workshop w/ artist Lisa Stead

Join me in my studio for a day of creative camaraderie!

Engage your creative spirit with this fun and expressive paint workshop.

Together as a group, we will let loose and push the limits! With bold colours and expressive mark-making, you’ll create a painting that has strong composition and reflects your newfound confidence with every mark.

Our morning will consist of a short demonstration before diving right into covering your canvas with colour, shape and detail. Get a little messy and create interest in your piece with many of the provided tools. The outcomes are limitless!

During a brief break for a light lunch, we will look over the “works in progress” and provide positive feedback. Standing back and “taking in” an unfinished piece helps to guide your next moves.

After lunch break, we will take that feedback and tackle the more challenging task of deciding what to keep and what to cover over. The key to a great abstract painting is constructing a piece that has many layers. You’ll surprise yourself with the confidence you find throughout the afternoon as you take your painting to the finish line.

By the end of our workshop, you will have created something fearless and striking, all while making new friends and conversations. You’ll leave with a finished piece you’re proud of.

· Welcoming to ALL skill levels | ALL art supplies are included

· A light lunch will be provided during our short break.

· PARKING: Street parking is available on High Street or adjacent side streets. Please be cautious of NO parking signs in some areas.

· ATTIRE: Please wear clothing that can get dirty or bring an apron.
